Dress codes... can somebody explain office dress codes for people with no customer contact? I understand making a good impression on the folks paying the bills and all.. but really.. even when customers come through it isn't like those of us in the trenches (or closets as the case may be) are actually introduced. The last three tours past my closet have included the phrase "This is the network room. And over here in this cubicle is Dana." Dana is an artist who sits across the way from me. So if I am not important enough to get my name mentioned.. why the heck does it matter what I look like? If you understand this.. hit the links and send me an IM.
