notes from the frontier of boredom
the semi-lucid ramblings of a person on the frontier of boredom without anything to do, and without any meaningful direcion. I love my job. Since I started working here I figured I'd spend the next 30 years doing the same thing. My free time is eaten up. I still don't really have much of a life, but I'm busy and it looks like fun.

Laura,
Please admire the goats from afar, but don't make the leap. Mom and Dad are getting old and the stress wouldn't be too good for them.

NOOOO no goats for me. I made the mistake of getting smart dogs. No smart fence eaters. Also.. goats very unhappy in suburbia. THese goats are in Green Bay, WI.
Hey, it's KB!
As of this evening the goats have a new pen - no more goat sh*t on our back steps!!! YAY!!! Unfortunately, the fence is comprised of the following: 6' panels from a chain link kennel given to us by a friend (currently the only functional gate, too); 5' welded wire fence; 4' snow fence (the wood slat kind). I'll keep you posted as to whether or not it's escape-proof! But now they have rocks to climb on.
